Starting college is exciting, and it can be overwhelming, but we’re here to make it easier.

Here's what to focus on as you settle in.

Start Off Strong

Take the AAA 1001/AIMS 101 course to access valuable resources and gain life lessons while establishing your Aims community. The course meets twice a week for only five weeks, with no textbooks required and sets you up to succeed in college.

Figuring Things Out

Visit Welcome Stations or campus front desks for help.
Look for staff with Here to Help lanyards.
Log in to myAims and check courses in D2L.
Join a *Here to Help* Zoom meeting if you’re not on campus.

Making Connections

Join a study group, club, or affinity group.
Meet with your Success Coach in Advising.
Visit instructors during office hours.
Attend the Student Employment Fair or a campus event.

Getting Study Support

Free tutoring online or in person.
Visit the Learning Commons.
Get tech help or D2L support.
Join Arty’s Study Hour.
Set up disability access accommodations.
